Bio-Based Industries -haun infopäivä
Bio-Based Industries Joint Undertaking (BBI JU) järjestää 22. huhtikuuta infopäivän virtuaalisesti. Tapahtuman tarkoituksena on neuvoa osallistujia, jotka ovat kiinnostuneita vuoden 2020 BBI JU –hausta. BBI JU on Euroopan komission ja biotalouden alan teollisuuden yhteenliittymä, joka tukee uusien ja innovatiivisten biotalouden tekniikoiden pääsyä markkinoille vuosina 2014-2020 yhteensä 3,7:llä miljardilla eurolla. Tapahtumassa esitellään vuoden 2020 haku. Tilaisuudessa on mahdollisuus käydä keskustelua sekä esittää kysymyksiä puhujille verkkotyökalun avulla. Lisäksi BBI JU:n henkilökunta vastaa tapahtumassa kysymyksiin hakemuksesta ja hakuprosessista.

Euroopan komissio järjestää yhteistyössä EU:n jäsenvaltioiden kanssa yleiseurooppalaisen kolmipäiväisen EUvsVirus hackathon -verkkotilaisuuden. Tapahtuman tavoitteena on yhdistää eurooppalainen kansalaisyhteiskunta, innovoijat sekä muut kumppanit ja aiheesta kiinnostuneet yhteiseen keskusteluun ja ideointiin kehittämään ratkaisuja Covid-19 pandemian mukanaan tuomien haasteiden torjumiseksi.
