Gearing up towards European Digital Innovation Hub (EDIH) virtuaalinen konferenssi järjestetään ensimmäistä kertaa tammikuussa 2021 Euroopan komission, Luxinnovationin, Luxemburgin talousministeriön sekä DIHNET:in toimesta. Tilaisuus kokoaa yhteen eurooppalaiset digitaaliset innovaatiokeskittymät (DIH), alueet, jäsenvaltiot ja klusteritoimijat sekä julkiselta että yksityiseltä puolelta. Tilaisuudessa verkostoidutaan sekä keskustellaan Euroopan digitaalisten innovaatiokeskusten tulevaisuudesta vihreän ja digitaalisen siirtymän näkökulmista. Lisäksi tilaisuudessa esitellään vuonna 2021 avautuvaa Digitalinen Eurooppa -rahoitusohjelman DIH-hakua. Tapahtuman ohjelma ja osallistuminen tarkentuvat lähipäivinä.

Euroopan komission neljännen kerran järjestettäviä EU:n teollisuuspäiviä vietetään virtuaalisesti helmikuussa 2021. Teollisuuspäivät ovat suurin komission järjestämä teollisuuden kasvutapahtuma, ja ne toimivat alan sidosryhmille erinomaisena mahdollisuutena verkostoitua sekä kehittää yhteisiä toimia paremman eurooppalaisen kilpailukyvyn saavuttamiseksi. Tilaisuuden kautta halutaan myös varmistaa teollisuuspolitiikan yhteneväisyys eurooppalaisella, kansallisilla sekä alueellisilla tasoilla.
