ARCTA – Arctic Art & Design Labs is a centre of excellence for Arctic design and art, offering diverse design and art services, including service design, graphic design, audiovisual media, industrial design, interior and clothing design, as well as applied arts. Within this framework, we produce and supply design and research expertise for the needs of enterprises.
The service provision focuses on the service design laboratory SINCO (Service Innovation Corner), which also contributes to the above excellence.
ARCTA’s service is produced primarily by Master’s degree students under the tutelage of expert teaching and research staff and, where possible, in cooperation with local service providers. The services supplied via ARCTA are mainly commercial, and therefore the client will have to pay for the services. The price is determined according to the promoter’s bid. Commercial staff-led services are also implemented by the SINCO service design laboratory. The facilities are also leased under ARCTA, offering practical support for business development of creative start-ups.
