Bio and circular economy is connected to training and RDI actions at the Lapland University of Applied Sciences. The objective is to develop operations in the Lapland region towards a sustainable direction by promoting smart utilisation of natural resources. The Lapland University of Applied Sciences acts as a regional partner with private and public sector actors.

In terms of bio and circular economy, the majority of operations are currently in the areas of circular economy, agriculture and forestry, and business. In addition, MTI (Multidimensional Tourism Institute) develops sustainable tourism through its own operations. In the service industry, the Lapland University of Applied Sciences has already implemented several circular economy case studies, i.e. our experts can also be used as purchased services in addition to project activities.

In the future years, bio and circular economy and sustainable development will be a big part of all areas of expertise at the Lapland University of Applied Sciences.
