BioPartnerit: Product development services for wood construction and the bioeconomy sector

BioPartnerit offers enterprises a low-threshold possibility to have access to the services and equipment of research institutes in the development of wood and fibre based materials and products.

BioPartnerit offers enterprises a low-threshold possibility to have access to the services and equipment of research institutes in the development of wood and fibre based materials and products.

The operation of Biopartnerit focuses on the initial phase of product development when rapid testing and trials are often needed. BioPartnerit combines chemistry, physics, biomass processing and expertise related to wood materials and wood products. In addition to individual test runs, BioPartnerit also enables implementation of extensive and multidisciplinary product development projects, and there is a lot of expertise in the network also for applying support funding.

BioPartnerit includes experts from the University of Eastern Finland, the Natural Resources Institute Finland LUKE, and the Karelia University of Applied Sciences. Our core areas of expertise are wood-based construction products, processed industrial pulp and wood products, modification of wood, wood fibre based composite products, and energy and chemical products obtained from sidestreams.
