The task of the From idea to business (I4B) project is the activation, support, speeding up, and improving the quality of the development of new ideas.

Kainuun Etu Oy implements the I4B – From idea into business project, the goal of which is to promote the development of ideas by Kainuu enterprises into innovations and for commercialisation. The tasks include, e.g. to strengthen regional cooperation in Kainuu between enterprises, financiers, training organisations and research institutes. In addition, the project aims to seek, compile and distribute new information to Kainuu entrepreneurs, to those aiming to start up a business, and to other actors who can take on different roles in the development of innovations. Through networked operations, the project distributes information about new national and international opportunities created in the region.
