The forest data ecosystem includes open data about Finland’s forests collected by the Finnish Forest Centre.

The majority of the materials is available in electronic format. The material includes data about forest growth areas and tree stocks, especially important habitats, and the use of forests. The free information can be utilised, e.g. in the development of companies’ services.

Open forest data is available in Finnish and Swedish in three different formats: map services, data packages formed of spatial datasets, and as interfaces.
