Located in Joensuu, the Energy Park is a service environment for studying and testing of property-sized renewable energy technologies, applicability and solutions. The environment is excellent for rapid practical testing of companies’ innovations and the development of business operations based on renewable energy.

The Sirkkala Energy Park is used to study the actual operating and maintenance costs of the various forms of energy production and the cost structure and energy efficiency of the whole chain of operations from the viewpoint of the total energy balance and resource efficiency. The Energy Park cooperates with companies and research institutes in the North Karelia region.

Our services include the design and dimensioning of energy solutions, biogas production and technologies, utilisation of solar energy, pellet production, combusting testing of solid fuel, control service for solid fuel operating technology, and water quality and load analyses.
