The Sales Forum – Myynnin foorumi
The Sales Forum offers diverse training, research and development services related to sales and marketing, as well as training for enterprises/communities/organisations of all sizes on a one-stop-shop principle. The training supports the operations of start-up companies or enterprises launching new products and services on the market, as well as SMEs and major companies who have been in operation for longer.
The Sales Forum is a producer network of expert services that helps enterprises to develop and maintain their sales and market expertise in domestic and international trade. The Sales Forum combines the expertise of strong university actors in the campus area and the regional developers of Central Ostrobothnia. Centria University of Applied Sciences, the University of Jyväskylä, Kokkola University Consortium Chydenius, Kaustinen sub-region, Municipality of Perho, Kokkolanseudun Kehitys KOSEK, and Keski-Pohjanmaan Yrittäjät are jointly responsible for the activities of the Sales Forum. The network is using the actors’ advisory and support services, and the researcher resources of the research, training and development organisations, training personnel, and students, as well as extensive national and international cooperation networks.
The Sales Forum serves the region’s business life closely and flexibly, operating always from the customer’s viewpoint and offering a long-term partnership. The network is using research resources, training personnel and students of the region’s companies, advisory and support services and research, training and development organisations, as well as extensive national and international cooperation networks. The extensive cooperation network enables transfer of the latest knowledge in the sector to the operators in the region. The Sales Forum enables solid contact and continuous transfer of knowledge between enterprises, advisory and support services, and training, research and development organisations. The sales workshops, seminars, discussion forums and development tasks inspire companies to develop sales and marketing, to commercialise ideas and to update the customer view.
